"Belfast Celtic Talks"

Journalist, broadcaster and football historian Padraig Coyle brings to life the story of Belfast Celtic Football Club. In its 58 year history, set against a background of poverty and discrimination, the club once managed by the former Liverpool goalkeeper Elisha Scot, won everything it was possible to win. Sadly, the magic came to an end after star player Jimmy Jones was attacked at the end of a match in 1948. This horrific event set in motion the club's eventful departure from the Irish League never to return.
